Profile:
Arturo qualified as a solicitor in 2007 having previously worked as human rights consultant to the Italian Foreign Office in Rome and Geneva. Since joining Hickman & Rose Arturo has advised clients in cases involving City of London police enquiries; multi-jurisdictional customs & excise investigations; international money-laundering investigations and confiscation proceedings and extraditions to and from the UK.
Arturo speaks fluent Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese and some conversational Arabic. He has a Diplome D’Etudes Juridiques mention bien from the University of Poitiers and was awarded the Lizette Bentwich Prize and Holland Fund Travelling Scholarship on graduation from Cambridge University in 2002.
Arturo has in addition a sound understanding of continental criminal law and procedure, in particular that of the Italian legal system.
