We do not, as a matter of policy, entertain applications via recruitment agencies.
We will advertise externally for all solicitor posts. We welcome applications for paralegal positions from suitably qualified candidates at any time. We do not presently take on trainees. Should that position change we will advertise.
When advertising externally we place all staff vacancies on our website and some in the relevant legal press, such as the Lawyer, the Law Society Gazette or Legal Action Magazine, and others in the local press.

Hickman and Rose receive a large volume of speculative work experience enquiries every year. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate or respond to all of these and we have a limited capacity to offer work experience. In an effort to ensure our work experience targets those individuals who may not have access to ready made networks within the legal world, our primary work experience offering is made through organisations including Social Mobility Foundation, SHM and the University of Law.
