The firm is listed in the top tier of London criminal practices in Legal 500. Chambers UK, a Client’s Guide to the Legal Profession 2008 said of us, "Crime and human rights are the foundations on which this firm is built" with barristers noting "They do crime and human rights-based criminal law in a very professional way; its a well organised firm which works well for its clients".

An independent peer review of our work in December 2006, commissioned by the LSC and carried out by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies graded our criminal work as "excellent" - a level reached by only 3% of the firms reviewed.

Our Police Law work - including deaths in custody - is described by Chambers UK as "one of the best in the area" and our Human Rights work is also praised as "up there with the best".
