Kane joined Hickman & Rose in June 2017, where he currently assists Charles Kuhn and Andrew Katzen in the criminal defence and regulatory department.

Kane has a BA (Hons) in English Literature & Language from St. Catherine’s College, Oxford.  He obtained a Distinction on the GDL and Outstanding on the Bar Professional Training Course from City Law School.

Prior to joining Hickman & Rose, Kane worked with the Centre for Criminal Appeals on an historic sex abuse case for presentation to the CCRC.  He also worked at Prisoner’s Advice Service, offering free legal advice and information to prisoners in England and Wales.  Kane is a Director of the School Exclusion Project, where he challenges the permanent exclusion of school children at disciplinary and Independent Review Panel hearings, along judicial review grounds.
