Patrick was called to the bar in 2014 and now works at Hickman & Rose assisting Stefano Ruis on claims against police and public law challenges on criminal justice issues. He also works in a voluntary capacity for the Free Representation Unit representing people on appeals against government department and local authority decisions to stop benefits.
Patrick gained a BA (Hons) in European Studies with Law, followed by an LLM, both at Leeds University. He was also accredited as a police station representative by Cardiff University in 2015.
He was a finalist in the Halsbury Essay Competition 2011, and won second place in the CEBA annual essay completion 2012. He also received a Blackstone Entrance Scholarship from the Middle Temple.
Patrick is a rugby player and supporter (Barnes RFC) and ran the 2014 London Marathon to raise money for Middle Temple.
