Who we are

Ross DixonRoss Dixon

Ross is an experienced criminal practitioner who has acted for many defendants in the most complicated and serious matters. These include cases with multiple forensic issues (scientific, medical and financial) and allegations of large scale and organised crime. In recent years his practice has increasingly concentrated on serious fraud, confiscation, restraint and forfeiture, including third party instruction. He is familiar with defending clients investigated by the Serious and Organised Crime Agency, City of London Police Fraud Squad, the CPS Fraud Prosecution Service, HM Revenue and Customs as well as the Serious Fraud Office.

Ross has represented many professionals including fellow lawyers and has a keen appreciation of the strategic issues in such cases.

He has been involved in the training of solicitors and other legal professionals and lectured for Legal Action Group and Queen Mary University Public Policy Seminars.

Ross's cases include:

R v Peach - The successful defence of one of the men charged witha conspiracy to defraud the comedian Ricky Gervais by transferring money from his bank accounts to purchase gold bullion. Link to BBC News Article

Admitted as a solicitor in 1991 and became a partner at Hickman & Rose in 1998.
