Christopher Houssemayne du Boulay interviewed about SFO disclosure problems at GIR Live
20 Apr 2026
Business Crime partner Christopher Houssemayne du Boulay appeared on stage at Global Investigations Review’s GIR Live event in London to discuss the SFO’s problems with e-disclosure.
Interviewed by GIR’s deputy editor Sam Fry, Christopher explained his role in uncovering problems in the SFO’s Autonomy e-disclosure system: an issue which contributed to the collapse of at least two criminal prosecutions, and has prompted a wholesale review of past cases.
Christopher called on the SFO to carry out a truly independent review of these issues, and to confirm how many documents were missed in each case as a result of the issues.
He also urged the SFO not to view these as simply historic problems with its old document review platform, but to consider the systemic failures which allowed the problems to arise in the first place and to go undetected for so long.
GIR’s write up of the interview is available for subscribers.
