Head of civil litigation Daniel Machover has been quoted in the legal press commenting on the introduction to parliament of the Judicial Review and Courts Bill.
Daniel joined shadow justice secretary David Lammy MP and the Public Law Project in questioning the reasoning behind the Bill, which he said may benefit the Government, but only at the expense of its citizens.
“This Bill’s proposal to restrict both who can bring a Judicial Review and also the remedies available to them if successful will mean that more unlawful acts go unchallenged,” Daniel told Justice Gap and the Solicitors Journal
