Daniel Machover in The Times on the chances for a Covid-19 inquiry
11 Jun 2020
Head of Civil Litigation Daniel Machover has written an opinion article in The Times newspaper on the prospects for a full statutory public inquiry into the Covid-19 pandemic.
Daniel warns that while such an inquiry may be regarded by the public as ‘inevitable’, this is far from certain.
Daniel writes: “While a public inquiry is desperately needed, there are worrying signs that it will not occur, or that any inquiry will not have the wide-ranging remit necessary to establish all the facts about the government’s handling of the pandemic.“
Daniel’s article is available on The Times website; or below as a download.
