Hickman & Rose’s landmark appeal to the Supreme Court in relation to LIBOR and EURIBOR has won Global Investigations Review’s ‘Most Important Court Case of the Year‘.

The court heard Carlo’s case alongside that of Tom Hayes who was represented by Karen Todner and counsel Adrian Darbishire KC and Tom Doble.

As GIR wrote: “After a decade-long legal battle, the UK’s top court quashed the convictions, opening the door to appeals for other individuals convicted over similar conduct.” There are seven such individuals left, and the same team at Hickman & Rose represent four of them.

Representatives from GIR presented the award to Ben and other members of the legal teams at a ceremony in Washington DC last week.
