Cynthia Fernando

Cynthia joined Hickman & Rose’s Civil department in June 2026. Her work focusses on inquest law, actions against the police and human rights-based claims.

Cynthia holds an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge and an LLM in Public International Law from the LSE. She completed the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, supported by a Major Scholarship from the Inner Temple.

Prior to joining Hickman & Rose, Cynthia worked as an Adviser with Citizens Advice, and as a Legal Adviser with Release.
