Daniel Olaniyi is a paralegal in the Serious and General Crime department. He studied law at Trinity College Dublin, which involved a year’s study in the USA. On graduation, Daniel was awarded the Blackheart Foundation Scholarship to pursue a MSc degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Oxford. He was then awarded the Lord Denning Scholarship to pursue the BPC.
Prior to joining Hickman & Rose, Daniel worked at a leading criminal and human rights law firm in Ireland, and also in the pro bono division of a leading law firm in London.
While at university, Daniel volunteered as a caseworker for the Innocence Project and worked as a student-attorney for an International Criminal Law Clinic in the USA. Outside the law, Daniel is the founder and chairperson of Innumeris Education, a project dedicated to helping athletes pursue university opportunities alongside their sporting careers.
