Katherine is a solicitor who specialises in advising individuals in civil claims against the state, police complaints and public law. She also has expertise in challenging DBS decisions and the retention of personal data by the police.
Katherine has experience across a range of contentious matters. Prior to joining Hickman & Rose in 2024 she worked for a corporate firm, where she focused on commercial litigation and international arbitration. She has worked on cross-jurisdictional disputes and is familiar with LCIA and ICC arbitration rules. She is also knowledgeable about alternative dispute resolution processes including adjudication and mediation.
Katherine has acted for a diverse range of clients including corporate entities, sovereign states, charities, and private individuals both in a privately-funded and pro bono capacity.
She is a member of Police Actions Lawyers Group (PALG) and the Junior London Litigation Solicitors Association (JLSLA).
