Hickman & Rose is praised across the board by Chambers, Legal 500 and The Times

Hickman & Rose and its lawyers received praise across the board as, over the course of just one week, it was named one of the country’s top law firms by both major legal directories and also The Times newspaper.

On Monday, the latest edition of the Legal 500 directory confirmed Hickman & Rose as a leading ‘Tier One’ firm working in general crime and, for the first this year, in white collar crime too.

The directory singled out Jenny Wiltshire and Daniel Machover for special praise, naming them ‘Leading Individuals’. Eva Whittall is a ‘next generation lawyer’ to watch.

On Tuesday, The Times newspaper named Hickman & Rose among the country’s top 200 firms, calling it a ‘go-to’ firm not only for corporate and white-collar crime, but also privately-funded general criminal defence work.

The firm was praised by the newspaper for its ability to deal with sensitive criminal cases with discretion, and also for its important work in inquest and human rights law

On Thursday, the new Chambers legal directory recognised Hickman & Rose as a leading law firm in all eight of its specialist areas.

Ranked ‘Tier One’ in general crime, the firm’s civil practitioners were described in the guide as an ‘absolutely brilliant public law solicitors’. Its criminal team provides ‘top-quality service across the full range of criminal law’.

Chambers also recognised Ben Rose’s work representing High Net Worth individuals by listing him in the new Chambers HNW guide.
