Tom Bushnell promoted to partner in Business Crime and Regulatory Law department

18 Sep 2025

Hickman & Rose is delighted to announce that Tom Bushnell will become a partner in the firm’s Business Crime and Regulatory Law department.

Tom initially joined Hickman & Rose as a paralegal in 2014 before he left to qualify as a barrister and then work, for six years, at leading chambers Three Raymond Buildings.

Tom came back to Hickman & Rose in 2022, since when he has worked on some of the firm’s most significant cases, including that of Carlo Palombo, whose conviction for fraud was overturned by the Supreme Court earlier this year.

Over the past eleven years, Tom has established himself as a leading light in white collar criminal and financial regulatory law, particularly as these matters relate to SFO and FCA investigations.

His decision to join Ben Rose, Ross Dixon, Andrew Katzen, Emily Sheils, Claire Wallace and Christopher Houssemayne du Boulay as a partner in the Business Crime and Regulatory Law team further entrenches Hickman & Rose’s leading status in these fields.
