Hickman & Rose’s co-founder Jane Hickman has been quoted by the BBC talking about the case of her clients Lee and Robert Firkins, who were convicted in 2005 of murder.
After a long legal battle, the Firkins brother have finally been granted a new appeal by the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC).
Jane, who represented the pair throughout, told the BBC that the CCRC has “finally confirmed… there is a real possibility the court will not uphold the conviction”.
