Crime Paralegal

We are seeking a paralegal to join our busy crime department for a fixed term contract.

The job will involve legal research and drafting; examining and analysing documents and video evidence; seeing witnesses and clients; attending conferences with counsel; letter writing; organising diaries; liaising with courts, experts and other parties; updating time records and financial records; assisting with billing tasks, filing and other administrative tasks.

We are seeking a highly competent individual with an outstanding academic record, a high level of legal literacy, excellent IT skills and a good grasp of criminal law and practice.  Applicants should have completed the LPC, BPTC or equivalent.
