Peter Csemiczky writes in Solicitors Journal on university sexual misconduct procedure
12 Dec 2023
Serious and General Crime partner Peter Csemiczky has written an article for the Solicitors Journal about the way in which universities investigate allegations of sexual misconduct involving students.
Peter’s article lays out some of the pitfalls that can be faced by students (and their representatives) who find themselves caught up in university non-academic misconduct investigations.
He analyses the two cases of AB v XYZ in 2020 and 2023, in which the High Court ruled that a UK university had twice breached the rights of a student it was investigating.
