Caio Alves joined Hickman & Rose’s Business Crime Department in July 2022.
Caio read law at Queen Mary University of London. He then completed the LPC and LLM at BPP University, focusing his research on malicious communication offences. Following the LPC, Caio decided to pursue a career at the Bar. He has since completed the Bar course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, for which he received a scholarship from the Middle Temple.
Prior to joining Hickman & Rose, Caio worked in a busy restructuring and insolvency practice at a major city law firm. He also volunteered for multiple pro bono organisations such as Battersea Law Centre, Toynbee Hall, and the well-acclaimed Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre. There he advised clients in multiple areas, such as crime and intellectual property.
