Ross Dixon chairs IBA panel on Brexit and criminal justice

Business Crime partner Ross Dixon recently co-chaired an International Bar Association panel on ‘Brexit, criminal justice and the future for cross-border cooperation.

The panel, which included lawyers practicing in the UK and EU, addressed a swath of Brexit-related issues including Interpol notices, EAWs, Extradition request, MLAs and the impact of sanctions.

Ross chaired the event alongside William Julié of William Julié Avocats, Paris. Panellists were Holly Gallagher, CPS Liaison Magistrate in Paris; Hugo Keith QC of 3 Raymond Buildings in London;, Melinda Taylor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague and Co-Vice Chair, IBA Human Rights Law Committee; and Lorenzo Salazar, Deputy Prosecutor General to the Court of Appeal in Naples.
