Ben has written an article for the Euronews website examining how Unexplained Wealth Orders can impact on financial advisors to HNW individuals.
Ben explains that while UWOs are normally understood as targeting the ultra-wealthy, the recent Aliyev case has shown how they can also be used against HNWs’ professional advisors.
He writes that “this is a significant development in the way UWOs are being used by law enforcement which anyone working in an advisory role in this field would be wise to understand fully.”
