Hickman & Rose has again been recognised by The Times newspaper in its annual list of the best law firms in the UK.
Hickman & Rose is included in the 2024 list as a leading firm operating in the three categories of Administrative & Public law; Crime; and Financial Crime, Fraud & Regulatory law.
The Times’ independent write up focuses on the firm’s public law practice, drawing heavily on work done on behalf of Andrew Malkinson and high profile judicial reviews arising from police use of force.
The paper praises the Serious and General Crime department’s work for HNW individuals such as footballer Benjamin Mendy, who was acquitted of rape and sexual assault charges after two trials.
It also mentions the Business Crime team’s successful defence of a former G4S executive who was acquitted this year in one of the Serious Fraud Office’s biggest cases.
