Ross Dixon discusses ideas for disclosure reform in the wake of G4S acquittals

Business Crime partner Ross Dixon has been interviewed by Law 360 following his successful representation of former CEO G4S UK & Ireland Richard Morris.
Ross discusses some of the disclosure issues in this case and others he has been involved in, and sets out his views on how the system may be improved for the benefit of all parties.
“In these factually complex, data heavy cases, we inevitably have a much better understanding of our client’s case than the SFO”, Ross tells Law 360.
“If the onus is on the defence to search the unused material, we have a much better chance of identifying and finding what is relevant to that case […]
“I would absolutely, 100% welcome the defence being given the opportunity and responsibility for searching the unused material.”
